How to Compare Complete Home Hyperbaric Chamber Packages
“Complete packages” may include different equipment, accessories, documents, services, and warranties. Compare the full system—not the chamber price alone.

1. Define “Complete Package”
Included means part of the price; optional means extra cost; compatible means connectable but not necessarily supplied; pre-installed means mounted before shipment; sold separately requires another order.
Photos do not define scope. Use the quotation, packing list, Incoterm, and installation terms.
2. Define the Chamber Configuration First
Confirm shell type, sitting or lying layout, occupancy, pressure, oxygen delivery, market, and operating environment.
A 1.5 ATA soft chamber and a 2.0 ATA hard-shell system require different compressors, oxygen delivery, cooling, controls, electrical planning, packaging, and installation. Match the base configuration before comparing quotes.
3. Audit the Air-Pressurization System
Confirm compressor manufacturer, model, quantity, oil-free design, airflow, continuous-duty rating, filtration, hoses, voltage, power, plug, and noise test conditions. Multiple compressors may support airflow or redundancy, but quantity alone does not prove performance. Request the matched configuration and air-path diagram.
4. Verify the Oxygen-Delivery System
Confirm whether the quotation includes an oxygen concentrator, oxygen hose, flow control, mask, headset, hood, or Built-In Breathing System (BIBS). “Oxygen-ready” may only mean that a connection port is provided.
Questions for the supplier
What flow and concentration are specified?
What flow is available under chamber pressure?
How many breathing stations and masks are included?
Where is exhaled gas discharged?
Who provides replacement masks, hoses, and filters?
5. Compare Cooling and Environmental Control
A fan moves air; an air cooler lowers inlet-air temperature; a cold dryer also addresses moisture; a dehumidifier controls humidity; and an AC provides active temperature control. “Cooling included” should identify the equipment, capacity, power, drainage, controls, installation, and warranty.
6. Review Controls, Communication, and Pressure Safety
Depending on the chamber, the operating package may include internal and external controls, mechanical or digital pressure displays, session timing, preset programs, two-way communication, automatic pressure control, emergency stop, and multiple pressure-release methods.
Ask what remains functional during a power interruption and how an occupant exits. For an OXYAIR hard-shell model, verify the exact configuration of the internal/external screens, communication system, automatic, manual, and emergency pressure release, and emergency stop.
7. Separate Standard, Optional, and Excluded Items
The chamber and matched compressor are usually standard. The concentrator, BIBS, masks, cooling, mattress, chair, media, and initial spares vary by model. Electrical work, room changes, and local permits are normally excluded.
DDP does not automatically mean indoor placement, installation, commissioning, or packaging removal. Define every responsibility in writing.
8. Verify Documents, Training, and Warranty
Request the packing list, manual, installation and electrical requirements, cleaning and maintenance guides, test records, serial numbers, spare-parts list, and applicable model documents.
Define product guidance for operation, pressure control, oxygen delivery, cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. It is not staff certification. Separate warranty coverage for the chamber, compressor, concentrator, cooling, electronics, labor, parts, and international freight.
9. Calculate Total Delivered Cost
Package + options + export packing + freight + insurance + duty + customs + indoor delivery + installation + site preparation + training + initial spare parts
Also budget for electricity, filters, masks, cleaning, maintenance, replacement hoses, service, and warranty freight.
10. Supplier RFQ Checklist
Chamber model, pressure, occupancy, dimensions, and weight
Compressor and concentrator models, quantities, and performance
BIBS stations, masks, hoses, and exhaled-gas route
Cooling, dehumidification, controls, communication, and safety
Voltage, frequency, plug, power, and circuit requirements
Incoterm, packing size, lead time, installation, and training
Warranty by component, spare parts, and response process
Exact packing list, test records, manuals, and model documents
